Geologists have discovered a bunch of fossilized dinosaur eggs, believed to be from 65 million years ago.
The village in state of TamilNadu in India is where the eggs were located and this could answers some questions on dinosaurs extinction
Here what the M. Ramkumar, a geologist at Periyar University had to say,
‘We found layer upon layer of spherical eggs and body parts of dinosaur and each cluster contained eight eggs”
The clusters were buried under the ash as result of volcanic eruptions on the Deccan plateau, which could be the cause of dinosaurs’ extinction, the geologists said.
Cauvery river basin is where the eggs were found in clusters of fossilized eggs, dung and bone remains of dinosaurs.
The site in TamilNadu where the dino eggs were found has been cordoned off to prevent the public from destroying the fossil eggs.
