Under the sunny yet chilling day, this year’s, that is 2009, Love Parade festival took place in San Francisco, CA (California). The participants in the Love Fest 2009 turned up in woolen cloths to beat the cold, yet were found shivering in the biting chill wind. It was chill wind everywhere!!!
The love fest was previously known as ‘San Francisco Love Fest’ and now is being referred to as LovEvolution, the America’s biggest dance music event for having no confusion on one more ‘The Love Festival’ from LA. LovEvolution promotes peace, love unity and respect via electronic music culture and technology. LovEvolution believes that this celebration results in lots of love!
The 3 aspects come into co-existence in LovEvolution, the power of dance, the power of music, the power of community.
Here is what LovEvolution had to say:
We do not dance in the streets to escape the reality of our times – we dance to face them as a community, pointing the direction to a better way, set to beats and the full color of our expression. We gather to inspire and motivate social action by us, the youth, and the people who will inherit this mess and have to do something about it to turn the tide. We intend to make the event a platform for dance music to reach more ears in America and beyond, to carry a message of love and hope, to be a vehicle for helping organizations doing well in the world, and for dancing our asses off surrounded by friendly freaks.
