teacup-PigsIf you are a animal lover, then you have one more addition to your passion, the “Tea Cup Pigs”

“Teacup” pigs are the latest pet culture in England. England is going gaga over them.

These tiny pigs, not larger than a tea cup, weigh little over half a pound at birth and grow only to be 12 to 16 inches high.

They are awesome fantastic pets and to add to it, the pigs are clean and intelligent too.

The pigs are a cross bred between potbellied pigs with the Tamworth, Kune Kune and Gloucester Old Spot breeds that were popular a couple of years ago. George Clooney had one as a pet sometime earlier it seems.

Just like mini-dog breeds, teacup pigs are costly. A pair might have a range starting from $1,200.

Until now, teacup pigs are only sold in Britain, where “Harry Potter” co-star Rupert Grint is among the celebrities who have purchased a piglet pair.
