Film Employees Federation of South India , which is familiarly known as ‘FEFSI" , is the central organization to regulate the activities of various craft unions of the film industry in South India . In the history of the trade union movement in the film industry , several craft unions were formed to effectively deal with their specific problems. There was a need to regulate the activities of these craft unions under a single umbrella federation. Thus FEFSI came in to being , to extend all round support and to help each one of them.

The South Indian Film Script Writer’s Association (FEFSI) has received a complaint against the filmmaker of Magadheera. The complaint has been lodged by scriptwriter Gandhi Gopal, a source said.
In his complaint, the scriptwriter has stated that it was he who wrote the script of the superhit ‘Magadheera’.
According to the source the writer went to the producer Allu Aravind with the script. Sources said that FEFSI went through the proofs submitted by Gopal.
Source added that FEFSI has ruled in favour of Gopal. Magadheera is superhit Telugu flick that is drawing large number of audiences.
