Here is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 route. The Macy s Parade initiates at 77th street and Central Park West, and will pass through Columbus Circle and then take a turn around to Central Park South. Once at 7th Avenue, the parade would take a turn to march towards 7th Avenue through Times Square to 42nd Street. At the intersection it will take east to 6th Avenue and continue on it’s final march to Avenue of the Americas to 34th Street to turn once again towards the Macy’s famed flagship and end at 7th Avenue marking it’s end. It’s nearly 3 miles march.
The returning favorites in Macy’s Parade line-up is expected to entertain thousands of spectators in their first pompous procession through New York City to Macy’s Herald Square.
