Many believed their relationship was a fling, but Russell Brand and Katy Perry are out to prove everyone wrong.
The couple, who has been dating since September, recently became engaged, Usmagazine.com reports.
Brand, 34, reportedly popped the question to the 24-year-old “I Kissed a Girl” singer five days ago while the couple was vacationing in Jaipur, India.
Rumors of an engagement began to swirl last month after the British comedian was spotted ring shopping in Cartier’s West London store, the U.K.’s Daily Mail reported.
Katy Perry, who is reportedly in India with actor-boyfriend Russell Brand, has gifted her beau a Range Rover.
She has bought the car for him as an engagement gift, reports contactmusic.com. And since Brand does not know how to drive, Perry has offered to pay for his driving lessons as well.
According to sources, the luxury car will be parked at the couple’s Los Angeles home.
