An announcement by South Florida is expected later this Thursday regarding the hiring of East Carolina’s Skip Holtz in place of recently fired Jim Leavitt as football coach as reported by ESPN.
Holtz Profile: Holtz, 45, coached East Carolina to 2 consecutive Conference USA championships and materialized 38 victories in four seasons. In 1900s, he was coaching at Connecticut before Uconn became a Division 1-A (FBS) program.
Jim Leavitt was fired earlier for supposedly striking one of his player and then lying about it. However, Jim Leavitt is contesting this case in the court insisting that the dismissal was unjustifiable. Lets wait and watch!!
