Miki Howard World Tour Schedule News – Miki Howard is a singer known for hits that were top ten in the later 1980s and early 1990s. Miki Howard is a black American born on 30 September, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois.
She joined R&B group "Side Effect" when 16, however in 1985 she decided to embark on her solo career. Her success began when she had two hits, following which she released two more top 10 singles “baby be mine” and “that’s what love is”. Miki Howard also did a duet with R&B crooner Gerald Levert, which resulted later in them getting romantically involved. Together they sang the biggest romantic hit “love under new management”. Sadly, their love dissolved even before the song was released.
Miki Howard made an appearance in Spike Lee’s Malcolm x film as Billie Holiday and also in John Singleton’s Poetic Justice with Janet Jackson.
Currently she is staging her comeback. Miki Howard is on a World Tour with Roy Ayers and the Jazz all-stars.
