Marcus Lattimore, is number one high school “running back” in the nation. Marcus Lattimore made an announcement yesterday on whom he is going to commit to. Marcus has chosen USC (South Carolina). Marcus Lattimore’s announcement was made at a church on Tuesday night in Spartanburg, that he would be joining USC and not Auburn. Marcus Lattimore announcement was most awaited and came when surrounded by family and friends in a packed church.
The manner in which Marcus Lattimore made his announcement was also notable. He gave the crowd a shock by first picking up a Auburn hat from his bag and wore it for a brief seconds before replacing it with the USC hat later.
Lattimore is ranked number one by Rivals.com and Scout.com, meanwhile according to ESPN he was the number 2 running back.
Lattimore who is from Byrnes High School, was also the top player in South Carolina, holding the title of “Mr. Football.”
