Venice Carnival 2010 the most awaited carnival during the romantic Valentine month is around the corner. It will be in the Venice city from 6 to 16 February 2010. Tons of festivities have been planned for the event like masquerades, music and not the least, processions.
To participate basically you need to stick to the Venice Carnival tradition of wearing a mask. Brace yourself to attend exotic balls at night.
Sensation has been chosen as the theme for Venice Carnival 2010 that is a invitation to the visitors to discover Venice through their five senses of touch, taste, smell, sound and sight.
There is going to be two parts to the carnival. In the first, it will be OLD carnival style, the manner in which people used to celebrate carnivals in the early ages during Serenissima Republic.
The other part is new, it will the modern way the carnival is celebrated. Here the visitors will be provided a proper guide to the city.
