Alexander McQueen,  the well known British fashion designer  who created for rich and famous like , just to name few of them  Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, allegedly committed suicide in London on the day New York Fashion Week started.

 Alexander McQueen’s mother, Joyce passed away on February 2nd, just a week ago. We aren’t sure if the pain of her demise is the reason for Alexander McQueen’s suicide. It is even speculated that probably the death of McQueen’s close friend Isabella Blow’s a years ago could have driven him to commit suicide. Isabella Blow killed herself a year ago.

Alexander McQueen, 40, is a fashion design genius. He was awarded  British Fashion Designer of the year, not just once, but four times between 1996 and 2003. Alexander McQueen moved on to acquire 51% ownership of Gucci Group.

Even before 2005, Alexander McQueen’s brands flooded the stores in the cities of New York,  Los Angeles, London, Milan, and Las Vegas.

McQueen had even the perfume lines and designed an athletic training shoe  for Puma.  The fashion world is going to miss him. RIP :-(
