Former Vice President Dan Quayle is in news for his son this time. Dan Quayle in a statement today has indicated that his son is going to run for Congress in Arizona.
Ben Quayle, Dan Quayle’s son, has interest to contest for the U.S. House seat that will be left vacant when Republican John Shadegg retires. Quayle filed his papers today as per his father’s annoucement.
Ben Quayle is joining the crowd that is already eyeing the seat, that includes Republican former state Senators Pamela Gorman, Jim Waring and former state Representatives Sam Crump and Mayor Vernon Parker.
The republican have for now only one Democrat running against them, Phoenix lawyer Jon Hulburd.
