Venezuela Earthquake Los Angeles March 2010 Latest News and Updates -

There is a rumor circulating on Twitter that Venezuela has been struck by a earthquake of 8.2 Richter magnitude, today 17 March, 2010.

It also claims that tsunami alerts have been raised for the islands of the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and Haiti and Puerto Rico. Estimated to hit at 1.14 am.

However, the message has been deemed a hoax.

The rumors followed California earthquake today at 4.4 magnitude. The earthquake struck East of Los Angeles downtown. No injuries or damages were reported, however, few places have lost power.
