South Korean Ship Sinking – March 2010 Pictures Update Photos Images -
A South Korean naval ship sunk on Friday night with over 100 people, and the reports from South Korea alleged that it could be the handiwork of North Korean attack.
Cheonan, is South Korean naval ship that guards the sea in an anonymous location in the territorial waters of South. It is still not apparent whether North Korea was involved in it’s sinking.
In addition, the Joint Chiefs of Staff also commented that it could not confirm if reclusive North was behind the attack.
It was believed earlier in the South Korean media that North Korea might have torpedoed the ship close to the disputed western sea border that divides the two Koreas.
The sinking comes as the impecunious North has turn out to be more and more frustrated by its rich neighbor, which has ignored the recent attempts to revive a money-spinning tourist business on the northern part of the Cold War’s last front line.
