National Day of Prayer 2010 Cancelled by President Obama | Is it real? | Reports News

image Having the National Day of Prayer 2010 cancelled seems to be another wild story. However the National Day of Prayer cancelled rumors have set the Internet on fire, even though the National Day of Prayer day isn’t until May. On coming May 6, prayer will be held across the country by men and women of faith, as just like every year.

Few blogs and sites have blown life into the rumors, so it may just move around stirring up resentment towards President Obama.

The reports usually cover the background of National Prayer Day, affirming that it has been an annual event for a while since the days of President Truman all the way up to President Bush. The current reports however indicate that President Obama has decided to cease the tradition due to demands from Atheists and other religious groups who consider that National Prayer Day is mainly a Christian-celebrated day. However, it isn’t true!!

So President Obama has not canceled the National Day of Prayer and as per a 1988 Act of Congress setting the observation on the first Thursday of every May, the U.S. National Day of Prayer will take place as usual on May 6, 2010.

I cannot believe that there are so many lies going around to undermind President Obama. Instead of you EVIL PEOPLE working so hard so that we as a nation can fail YOU should be praying for him. SHAME ON THE PERSON THAT STARTED THE LIES ABOUT THE PRAYER. May God have mercy on your lying souls.
