How to run Android on an iPhone : YouTube Video : Hacker dual boots iPhone to run Android OS : -

image You can now iPhone set up to dual-boot with Android. At present it only works on a first generation iPhone, and is absolutely considered "alpha", however if they can get this running on the new iPhones, particularly the 4g, we would definitely want to have this. There is going to be  first generation Apple iPhone running the Linux kernel and Google’s Android mobile operating system

A video was posted by David Wang, an associate of the iPhone Dev Team group, that in fact demonstrated an Apple iPhone running with the Google’s Android operating system.

The video had highlights on the boot process of the iPhone, which worked with the Tux Linux mascot. The demonstration also had Wang using Android for receiving a text message, playing music, answering a phone call and browsing.

It is visible that the devise primarily runs on iPhone Operating system and a dual-boot is set up in the phone.

In the video, the hacker states that the procedure cannot be of a production-quality; conversely, it can surely be branded alpha quality. Wang also is alleged to have said that nearly everything has been found to be working after the swap.

The only thing that could be better, to us, would be to expect Apple to allow Java apps to run on the iPhone without any change. Picture you being able to run the same apps on Android and the iPhone.
