Times Square was once again gripped in tension since a vendor reported a ‘suspicious package’. Was it another terrorist attack that was foiled? No, it was just a false alarm. However the complete stretch of Times Square was closed down this afternoon, before to isolate the area surrounding the package.

So, it appears that a vendor found an unattended item on 8th Avenue near Times Square and reported it to the police. The cops already on the tip of their toe after a crude homemade bob was diffused a couple of days ago, sprung into action immediately.

One perception is that every Times Square vendor is trying to be a hero, however other way to look at it is, if it really was a BOMB!, then?
