David Huff, Indians pitcher, was struck above the left ear by Alex Rodriguez’s line drive this Saturday and was admitted in a hospital, where a CT scan came up negative.

The ball hit Huff just above his left eye, and Huff was immobile for around 6 minutes subsequent the impact. Both team Trainers got together to render assistance quickly.

Huff was alert at the hospital and didn’t seem to experience any pain or memory loss, and the CT scan proved to be negative. Luckily, it seems as though the most demanding issue is the timetable for Huff’s comeback.
During Saturday’s game, Huff had a 5.25 ERA in 48 innings pitched this season.
