Being one of the famous stars of ABC Family’s fresh teen drama "Pretty Little Liars”, Shay Mitchell spoke to the press on numerous things. The series drama "Pretty Little Liars” is derived from the famous "Liars" books by author Sara Shepard and Mitchell and guarantees us that the show would  prove true to the books, however there seems to be a bit of surprises in store for us.

When questioned if she is a fan of the "Liars" books, Shay is supposed to have said she is definitely is now. She also added that as soon as she got later on in the audition process, she went online and comprehended that the books have a huge fan base, and so she took off to a bookstore and bought all the books. She added that she has read all of them and that they’re great books.

She also revealed that the series even though is based on the book there are few surprises for the readers of the books, with new twists and turns with the show.
