One of the most triumphant men equally in the entertainment and professional spheres is Matt Roloff, most particularly acknowledged for his motivating role on his TLC reality TV series, “Little People, Big World,” and is the living proof that a tiny stature is not a restraint to meet success.
A flourishing businessman, author and knowledgeable computer programmer narrates his story together with his family in the 1st and original, often emulated, however never duplicated, “little people show” that has hooked typical America society.
The Roloff family includes Matt, who was born with diastrophic dysplasia, his spouse Amy, also a little person with achondroplasia, and 4 children: fraternal twins Jeremy and Zachary, Molly, and the last one Jacob. Zach, once again like his mother, has achondroplasia, while the other 3 children are normal height. Matt and Amy met at a Little People of America gathering in 1987. The couple was engaged quickly and was married on September 12, 1987.
Matt’s parents, Ron and Peggy, also appear on Little People, Big World. They too are of standard height as is his elder sister, Ruth. His younger brother Sam, an artist and founder of Back-Story Underpainting, has diastrophic dysplasia and takes aid of crutches to walk. His middle brother Joshua was born with a severe heart deformity. Joshua died in 1999 at age 34.
Today, Matt is still well known in the Hollywood because he is a good friend with fellow little person and actor Martin Klebba, who appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean, movie franchise and is also a member of a famous athletic club for little people, the LA Breakers.
