Toyota Q World is coming to 15 major cities of India bringing Toyota Etios hatch back and sedan model with them for display and exhibition.

Toyota plans to embark on commercial production of its forthcoming small segment car model Toyota Etios, in December 2010. The company will positively launch the car in the Indian market in the same month or at least by early 2011. Toyota has confirmed that the spy photo of the sedan in Chandigarh with a red number plate that was released on a website is actually the Etios. To an untrained eyes it closely resembled a Logan, but on closer inspection it was confirmed to be the upcoming Toyota Etios.

As said earlier, Toyota Motors Corporation will launch its compact car ‘Etios’ by December 2010 or in January 2011 in India. Toyota also plans to export the car to other world market if it meets the expected results.

The ETIOS Concept Sedan design is destined towards the concept of “Bold Simplicity”. The interesting aspect is that this revolutionary novel concept in luxury and comfort at the global standard of quality will be affordable too. The ETIOS is truly a global compact car by Toyota, we should say.

Toyota Etios Expected Price:
The official announcement is yet to be made by Toyota India on cost price of Toyota Etios, however the prices are speculated to as follows.

Toyota Etios 1.2 -> Rs. 5,50,000
Toyota Etios Sedan 1.2 -> Rs. 6,00,000
Toyota Etios 1.5 -> Rs. 7,00,000
Toyota Etios Sedan 1.5 -> Rs. 7,50,000

Toyota Etios Engine Options:
To make Etious cheap Toyota has intelligently attempted to cut costs of manufacturing Etios wherever possible to build a competitive edge in pricing in India in par with Maruti Swift in quality and cost.

Etios is expected to have two variants or engine options

- 1.2 litre petrol engines expected to deliver a maximum power of 80 BHP to meet small car regulation norms.
- 1.5 litre petrol engines expected to meet 100 BHP of maximum power.
- Diesel engines are still on hold.
