Williams College Top on Forbes List For Best U.S. Colleges in 2010: News Latest Updates –

A tiny private Massachusetts college, the Williams College, has gained laurel as it has been ranked 1st in the list for best U.S. colleges in 2010, thrashing Ivy League contenders such as Harvard and Yale.

image 2,200 students go to college at Williams College, shoved past Princeton and Amherst, which took 2nd and 3rd place on the report. The list was compiled and released by Forbes.com.

At the top were the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, whilst Harvard positioned at 8th place. Yale just brushed past into the top 10.

William Wagner, the dean of faculty at Williams College when asked said,

"It’s always gratifying to be considered among the top institutions in the county,"

Wide spectrum of factors were considered by Forbes and the Center for College Affordability and Productivity (CCAP) in Washington D.C. in compiling this list, which is its 3rd list, that included the cost of tuition, the salaries of graduates and students’ experiences.
