Following numerous recalls ranging from cars to medicines, it is time for even the eggs. Consumers are advised to be aware of massive egg recall with an expectation that might be infected with salmonella. 
Nearly 228 million eggs produced in Galt, Iowa by Wright County Egg will be recalled. These eggs have been distributed to wholesalers and food service companies across the country.

To identify the infected eggs check the dates and codes stamped at bottom of the carton. Remember, the plant numbers affected are:
P-1026
P-1413
P-1946
The dates, read in the “Julian format” range from 136 to 225, as per an announcement from the Egg Safety Center. Assume there are eggs in a carton with the number P-1026 137 printed on it, then it should not be consumed. Consumers can obtain a refund if they return the eggs in their original carton to the same store where they actually bought them. Also, the company stated that the recall applies to shell eggs only, other egg products made by Wright County Eggs are not affected.
We advice you to be careful when you eat eggs as there’s been 7 salmonella cases reported in 2 restaurants that has been linked to Wright County Egg in May and July.
