Glenn Beck’s "Restoring Honor" is under progress today. If you have been keeping a tab on  Glenn Beck for quite some time now , you would have realized how much he is intimidating the Americans to arrive at the Lincoln Memorial for the 828: Restoring Honor rally.

Glenn is iterating that the "Restoring Honor" rally is not political event and he expected thousands to join on August 28, 2010 to know what Beck and others have in the store for them. Though he claims the rally is apolitical, he has Sarah Palin, the ex-governor of Alaska speaking in the event.

Restoring Honor is destined to be a free event and will commence at the steps of the Lincoln memorial. Beck has continually talked about his show being “apolitical rally" and he requested the Americans not to carry any signs and wants them to drop in with just their family.

Few are shouting SCAM. Reason – Sarah Palin and others from the political stream taking part in the rally. The critics have called this a ‘teabagger rally’ due to the amount of conservative constitutional speakers. Also, August 28 happens to be the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s and might be Glenn is capitalizing on it.

Here is what Beck said when asked about the rally:

"going to be an iconic event. This is going to be a moment that you’ll never be able to paint people as haters, racists, none of it. This is a moment; quite honestly, that I think we reclaim the civil rights movement. It has been so distorted and so turned upside down. It is an abomination"

As per Glenn’s statement, the rally is focused at promoting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which supplies services and scholarships to family members of military members dead or severely injured in war. Beck, it seems has collected donations for the cause now.

The anticipated speakers at "Restoring Honor" rally will be:

SOWF, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Marcus Luttrell, and Dr. Alveda King. Expect o Dee Messina to perform as well.
