Nate Diaz reigned over Marcus Davis as he beat bloody subsequently choked him out in the 3rd round of the UFC 118: Nate Diaz vs Marcus Davis

The plan was to have these two guys fight  to push the demand for the UFC 118 pay per view and they did deliver. People were sitting glued to the match.

Diaz teased Davis in the beginning, whoever got dropped by a hard left from Davis. Diaz luckily survived and moved forward to dictate the rest of the round, getting Davis bloddy. Diaz’ attack resulted in Davis getting cut very badly over his right eye.

The ringside medic checked Davis thoroughly between the rounds, however as respite to the fans the fighters were allowed to continue.

The second round had the two exchanging punches in ring with Daiz again having the benefit in quantity of shots landed. However, this time both the men were bleeding. Diaz sustained to hit and punch Davis’ face, only taking him down only when the round neared its end.

Third round had Diaz continue his assaults. Davis was losing his balance, yet Diaz caught him again and again. He in conclusion took a weakened Davis to the ground and subsequently choked him out with a front guillotine.
