Members of the Navy are requested to check if their personal information is up-to-date on the Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS).

The correct information is critical for groundwork for a disaster awareness exercise planned to be conducted throughout Southern California naval installations as per the Sources.

The exercise, is expected to simulate fictional scenarios like earthquakes threatening the Northwest and Southwest regions, wildfire, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and Explosive events in the Midwest region, aimed to check Navy’s is prepared to handle adversities affecting personnel, family members and infrastructure.

This exercise apart from being useful to the Navy as an institution will also educate the navy men and their families on taking accountability and responsibility in possible grave dangers.
