The hottest recent Telugu movie “Gaayam 2”, it is sequel to the blockbuster Telugu movie Gayam [1993] and is an intense action thriller film in which Jagapathi Babu and Vimala Raman are appearing in the leading roles. This movie hit the screens today all over Andrapradesh.
The story revolves around Ram [Jagapathi babu] who owns a coffee shop in Bangkok, leading a happy life with his family consisting of his wife Vidya [Vimala], son and brother in law [Harshavardhan]. Things turn bad with the arrival of Shankar Narayana [Kota prasad] with his lawyer [Tanikella]. They deem that Ram might be Durga, the archenemy of Guru Narayana [Kota]. They embark on plans to check if Ram is actiully Durga, however Ram continues to prove he is not so.

Even though the first half was snatched from a Hollywood movie, the second keeps the audience engrossed. While there were several hiccups in the emotional scenes and few other vital scenes, in general the speed and the narration make it at least one time watch.
