A group of nuns from Baltimore could be richer by $150,000-$200,000 via auction of a hundred year old Honus Wagner T206 card that they recieved as an unexpected donation. Holy Cow!
Although the Honus Wagner T206 card is in a pathetic condition, it is fetching this booty because it is only 60 of the T206 Wagners that are believed to exist.
When the head of the nuns was asked about the same, she exclaimed that it just boggles her mind, and that she couldn’t remember a time when they have received anything like this before.
Brother of a nun who passed away in 1999 donated all his possessions to the order recently. The lawyer of the man revealed to the nun that a Honus Wagner card is in a safe deposit box.
The card, had a typewritten message on the rear that read:
"Although damaged, the value of this baseball card should increase exponentially throughout the 21st century!"
