Former "American Idol" contender Alex Lambert stunned his fans when he admitted that he is homeless and has been sleeping on the streets, however his representative says the declaration are plainly not true.
Lambert has been coming out on his frantic dilemma with fans on Twitter and Facebook.
He tweeted:
"I have a choice to stay and pursue my career or go back to Texas and not do music! I’m usually a strong person but I can’t take it anymore," Lambert tweeted.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for 19 Entertainment, an "Idol" production company that handles several of the contestants, confirmed that Lambert did Tweet the messages, however he is certainly "not homeless." In an interview to the Entertainment Weekly, the agent added,
"I don’t know where that came from."
The agent also revealed that Lambert should have the monetary means to shell out for his housing.
"He’s on a retainer, and he’s getting money every month. He’s working on demos. He’s with writers; he’s working on music.
