Reshma Shetty is a British-born American actress of Indian origin. Shetty’s parents are of Indian origin basically from England.  Reshma Shetty spent her childhood in England and later in Richmond. She pursued pre-med at James Madison University, and later shifted to B.A. in opera performance and graduated.

Shetty holds Masters in Music  from the University of Kentucky. Earlier she did  Conservatory of Music course in Cincinnati and earned her artist diploma in opera.

Shetty appeared as a female lead in a musical “Bombay Dreams”. Shetty also worked in off-Broadway play Rafta Rafta. Shetty is currently on the American television series Royal Pains playing a role a Physician Assistant named Divya Katdare.
